BEACON FEEDS XXX E’town Jaycees Slate Festival The Elizabethtown Jaycees have announced the following dates for their annual Com munity Festival, Friday and Saturday, August 2S and 26 with Sunday, August 27 as rain date for either night. The entertainment for Friday night features Andy Reynolds and the 101 Ranch Boys. Plans call for the concession stands, game and food stands to open at 6 p.m. The Jaycees also plan to have bingo in the midway. The food stand will be operated by the Elizabethtown Jaycettes and will feature hamburg bar becue, hot dogs, pizza, french fries, cold drinks, ice cream and chicken corn soup. The soup will be available for carry-outs, but persons are requested to bring their own containers. Saturday’s plans call for the concessions to being at 2 p.m. with free children’s drinks and pony rides for kids 12 and under between 2 and 3 p.m. Late Saturday afternoon, Sky Divers will perform in the ball park. The entertainment for Saturday evening will be the folk recording artists “The Summit Singers.” A fireworks display will con clude the evening’s festivities at 10 p.m. The concessions will re open for awhile after the fireworks.
