Middletown, Maryland, she was
purchased by Emilio Curti of
Waukena, California Next at
$2350 was the consignment of
Owen Martin of Hagerstown,
Maryland. His entry, a daughter
of Femhame Ivanhoe Emperor
who has a Kingpin son slated to
enter service at SIRE POWER,
sold to Dale Ring of Wooster,
Ohio
Included in the sale were an
outstanding group of Whirlhill
Kingpin daughters A pair of
them, the consignments of
Melvin Peifer, Canton, Pa. and
Richard Landis, Lancaster, Pa
brought $1825. Among the other
high selling Kingpin daughters
were the entries of David

SELLING 234 Head of Beef Cattle. Herd me. 49 Head of
Registered Charolais, 24 Mature Cows, 16 Calves, 7 Yearling
Heifers, 2 Bulls. These Charolais cows are all bred or have
calves at side by a half French bull, Nutmeg’s Avignon Fr. 1,
an outstanding son of the great Avignon bull and a 4T cow. The
cows are daughters and granddaughters of such great sires as
Apollon, Cotano434, Argo Lin 505, Betto 3rd, Major, Olentangy
Master Jack, Jefe, Alejo and El Capitan. Cow herd consists of
125 Herefore, Angus and Cross Charolais. 50 with calves at
side, balance due in Jan. and Feb. Ten Heifers, Charolais,
Hereford and Angus, 10 to 18 mo. old. Many cows in this herd
are second calf heifers, bred to a pure-bred Charolais. This
Herd in general is young and productive.
