distributive less than carlot.
Compared with Wednesday,
prices continued weak for steer
and heifer beef. Veal and calf
steady Spring lambs advanced
50c at low side. Pork cuts mostly
steady expect picnics steady to a
dollar higher.
Beef chucks moving readily
and oversold in instances while
rounds and rough cuts under
pressure. Fabricated round cuts
offered liberally from outside
points and having depressing
effect on local market. Demand
for pork only fair at best.
