Holstein Earns Gold Medal
A cow in the herd of Paul R.
King, Delta, has achieved Gold
Medal Dam status, reports the
Holstein-Friesian Association of
America.
Redgate Design Milady 5282187
(GP) was bred and owned by
August W. Nagel, Rockville, Md.
She was transferred in 1961 to
King. She qualified as a “super
brood cow” on the basis of her
lifetime production of 135,999
pounds of milk and 4,804 pounds
of butterfat.
