r T i I 1 * id o’ s \ W eboo \ What do you do on a Sunday afternoon? Some people visit, some sleep, some travel and some entertain. If you have youngsters like mine, you must “do something” to keep them happy. Ida Risser So this particular Sunday we went fishing in our meadow. Only because none of the older children wanted to fish did I get involved. They dug worms and I got poles ready. The fish nibbled at the worms, but they weren’t able to catch any. In fact the expedition ended when Philip threw out the line and it caught on a high tree limb. So we lost everything “hook, line and sinker.” Many a person has done the same. Years ago, when I went fishing often a weasel came running along the creek bank. As I sat very quietly, he actually ran over my legs an up on ray lap to sniff and then left as quickly as he came. Another time as I fished just at dusk, I saw a sight never to be forgotten. A large flock of wild geese circled overhead coming lower all the time. Finally they landed directly across the creek in a lightly wooded area. They were enormous birds. However, some one else had noticed them landing and approached, thus causing them to take off again.
