COMPLETE DISPERSAL: Mr. Louis Scotten, due to ill
health, will sell his entire head of high grade Holstein
dairy cows. This is an outstanding small herd. Eight
cows are recently fresh (within 60 days), 9 cows are
dry and close springing, and the balancels in full flow of
milk; rebred for average months. Average milk weight
is 52 lbs. per cow; several milk at 65 lbs. per day. This
is a young herd that has been well cared for and closely
culled. All cows have been pregnancy checked.
SPRINGING HEIFERS: This sale features the Best
Holstein springing heifers we ever offered for sale at
one time. There are 70 head due to freshen from June
thru September. These heifers are out of the finest
herd in the State of Delaware and were sired by the
most popular bulls of the breed. They are well ud
dered; have good quality: and weigh 1200 to 1400 lbs.
Mr. John Bell of Catlett, Va. will sell another fine
group of fresh and springing heifers. Also for sale will
be one load Canadian cows and heifers of good quality
plus another consignment of top yearling Holsteins.
All animals are T. B. Accredited, Certified Bangs Free,
and tested within 30 days of sale for interstate ship
ment. Milk weights, freshening dates, breeding and due
dates will be available at sale time.
