New York Eggs
Prices declined. Market mixed
and unsettled with some dealers:
more willing sellers at frac-i
tionally lower prices in an effort'
to stimulate movement. Local
wholesale trading activity is
light. Distributors floor stocks of!
large and mediums fully adequte
for current needs. Extra large
moved in street trading at mostly
31%-33c. Smalls irregularly
distributed; some quarters note
light supplies clearing while
receipts from south and nearby
areas are spotty but increasing.
Standards continue well cleared
with about adequate receipts of
nest runs. Carton movement is
just fair at best.
