The Lancaster County Soil and Water Conservation District will be sponsoring a photo contest for any and all Lancaster County Senior High School students, residents of the County, in grades 10, 11, 12 While the contest deadline is Friday, October 20, now is the time to think up your ideas and begin taking pictures. There are categories: 1. Beautiful Areas of the En vironment 2 Ugly or Unshghtly Aspects of the Environment. 3 Photo Story (Project - Before - Activity and after Im provement) Entries are limited to five photos in categories 1 and 2; limited to three to five in category 3 Guidelines for photo entries are - black and white, size may range from 4x5 to Bxlo, no size limit on transparencies or colored prints Health Planning Council Fund Raising Launched The fund raising efforts of the Southcentral Pennsylvania Health Planning Council were launched recently. Nelson Read, Esq , chair man of the fund drive, accepted two sizeable checks, one from a commercial group and one from a voluntary health agency. The gifts, totaling over $3,000, were presented by Mrs. Jane Alexander, Escr., an officer of the York-Adams Respiratory Health Association and Albert Adee, vice president of Educators Mututal Life Insurance Company. These two initial gifts mark the beginning toward achieving the agency’s goal of $63,000. The Southcentral agency will be working to assure that the best possible health care is available to the greatest number of people at the most affordable cost. Robert J.
