20 —Lancaster Farming, Saturday, April 15, 1972 Five 4-H teen leaders from Lancaster County attended the 4-H Teen Agricultural Leadership Conference at Washington, D.C. last week. The Lancaster County delegation included: left to right, Mike 4-H Teen Approximately 150 4-H members from the Com monwealth, including five from Lancaster County, took part in the Northeast States Invitational 4-H Teen Agricultural Leader ship Conference, last week in Washington, D.C. Those attending from Lan caster County were: Mike Grube, Elm; Linda Witmer, Willow Street; Mike Peifer, Manheim; Roxanne Stein, Mountville; Don Thomas, Millersville. The conference, held in the National 4-H Center, was designed to explore career op portunities in agribusiness, become aware of the role and need for stronger agriculture leadership, and get acquainted with leaders in business, in- Quarter Horse Association Plans Annual Convention Registrations for owners of American Quarter Horses in this and 41 other countries totaled 73,594, bringing the total registration figure to over 800,000. The American Junior Quarter Horse Association (AJQHA) continues to be the fastest growing group of its kind in the world.
