Association membership now
stands at 1,110 Statewide,
membership m the Farm Bureau
is approaching 15,500.
Livestock marketing survey
forms will soon be mailed to all
members beef producers, ac
cording to secretary James
Martin, Strasburg. The forms,
which will determine desire for
the Association to assist m the
purchase of feeder cattle, should
be returned as soon as possible.
Martin requests 100 per cent
return.
Ivan Yost, insurance com
mittee, announced the unex
pected resignation of salesman
Wilbur Sollenberger. Sollen
berger, who was recently
honored for outstanding sales,
will continue to service accounts
until April 25.
The insurance committee said
no replacement has been named
and all problems should be
directed to the committee after
April 25

Americans are developing a
consuming interest in yogurt,
that cultured custard-like dairy
product. Last year Americans
ate 100,000 tons of yogurt, about
one-third more than they ate in
1969 and six times the amount
consumed 20 years ago. Flavored
yogurt accounts for 80 per cent of
the market.
