conservationist in February 1970.
A native of Buhl, Idaho, he has a
B.S. degree in agronomy from
the University of Idaho.

Farmers Association Auxiliary
Plan Talent, Poster Contests
The Auxiliary to the Lancaster
County Farmers Association is
planning two special events for a
Ladies Day Out Program from 10
a.m. to 3 p.m. May 2 at the Farm
and Home Center.
A talent contest will be one
feature of the days events. Open
to ages 15 to 30, competition must
feature singles or groups of less
than five. Winners will appear in
District competition.
The second feature will be a
poster contest on some phase of
farm safety such as machinery
safety, chemical safety, safety in
the home.

world food pioduction showed
no increase over that of 1968
even though the population
