Carman
Robert GraybiJJ, president of
Pennfieid Corporation, has an
nounced the appointment of Alan
E. Carman, Bridgeton, N.J., to
sales manager for all Pennfieid
prepared foods.
Carman will be responsible for
general sales throughout the
eastern Mid-Atlantic sales area
for all “Dutch Treat” and
“Pennfieid Farms” prepared
foods. He will be overseeing the
entire network of food brokers
marketing Pennfield’s products
in major eastern markets.
His headquarters will be in
Philadelphia.
Carman has been in the food
business more than 25 years,
coming to Pennfieid as a former
vice president of the Philadelphia
division of Ken J. Pezrow Cor
poration of Maspeth, N.Y., with a
background as a manufacturer’s
representative and food broker in
canned and frozen food products.
Pennfieid Corporation, with
headquarters in Lancaster, was
established in March 1971 with
the merger of Miller and Bushong
of Lancaster and D. E. Horn and
Co. of York.
Teen Leader Weekend
A 4-H Teen Leader Weekend
will be held beginning at 6 p.m.
Friday, March 3 and continue
until 12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 5
at the Hooliday Inn in Lionville.
Designed to develop teen
leaders, this is an opportunity to
meet with other 4-H’ers and
discuss and share plans.
Also on the agenda is a
guidance chairman at Abington
School, Ben Monticciolo, who will
present a session on the senses
and personalities.
