County, was named director of
the State Farm Show this week
by James McHale, Pennsylvania
Secretary of Agriculture.
Smith succeeds Horace Mann.
Reports from Harrisburg this
week indicated Mann refused to
resign until ordered to do so by
the Farm Show Commission

Horse and Pony Club was held
Thursday, January 13 The
meeting was held at the Farm
and Home Center
The officers for 1972 are as
follows Jim Watts, president;

Diane Heese and Robin
Fellcnbaum, secretaries; Kirk
Bussell, treasurer; Daniel
Fellcnbaum Jr, news reporter.
The County Council
representatives will be Jim
Watts, Robin Fellcnbaum, Diane
Reese and Amy Glatfelter Kirk
and Dennis Bussell will serve as
alternates lor the council
The horse show committee will
meet January 27 to plan the 1972
Open Horse Show and the Club’s
gymkhanas which are held over
the summer
