Twin Valley FFA Chapter will
not sell farm signs for farm
equipment. Safety signs are
available at hardware stores and
farm equipment dealers.
Three members of the Twin
Valley Chapter went to the
National FFA Convention in
Kansas City, Mo. They are Frank
Stoltzfus, president; Nevm Mast,
vice president, and Terry Murry,
chaplain. These members
represented the Twin Valley
Chapter and Frank Stoltzfus also
represented the Berks County
Association.
The three accompanied Lloyd
Wenger, North Atlantic FFA
Regional Star Agribusinessman
on his privately owned bus.
Wenger, who is a partner in
Wengers Farm Machinery
Company, Myerstown, has
purchased a 41 passenger bus
which he is taking to Kansas City.
The bus has been painted the
FFA colors-National Blue and
Corn Gold.
Ten members of the Twin
Valley FFA Chapter have gone to
the Leadership Training Con
ference from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday
night, October 5, at the Governor
Mifflin High School.
The pumpkin contest will be
held Friday, October 22 in the
high school gym All FFA
members will be expected to help
weigh pumpkins. Arrangements
have been made to show the film
“Hook, Line and Sinker” to the
elementary students that night
while the pumpkins are being
weighed.
Window exhibits are to be
worked on by all FFA members.
These exhibits will go on display
in the show case of the Twin
Valley High School Discussion
was held on putting the display in
the State Farm Show.
The meeting was then ad
journed.

agriculture shop.
