Parke Discusses Trade Associations The growing importance of trade associations in American lives was discussed by Donald W. Parke, executive vice-president of the Pennsylvania Millers’ and Feed Dealers’ Association at the opening session of that organization’s 93rd Convention held at the Marriott, Philadelphia, September 22. Parke, in his presentation “The Third Force,” showed how trade associations are frequently able to bridge the gap between the. public sector (government) and the pnvate sector (business).
