The Busy Bakers 4-H Cooking
Club held its final meetings

by repeating the Pledge to the
Flag, followed by the 4-H

Roundup was discussed. Each
girl was assigned to make three
muffins for roundup.

Lincoln Community 4-H
The regular meeting of the
Lincoln Community 4-H Club
was held Tuesday evening, Au
gust 17, at the Schoeneck Fire
men’s field.
' The business meeting was
directed by Debbie Weitzel. It
was discussed that the club
have a window display and a
float at the Ephrata Fair. All
members are planning to at
tend Achievement Day at the
Farm and Home Center.
After the business meeting
the members played baseball
and refreshments were served.
The next meeting will be held
at 7-30 pm. September 14 at

South Central
Dairy Show Set
Thirty-nine Lancaster County
4-H animals will be among
those competing in the South
Central District 4-H Dairy Show
at the Farm Show Building, be
ginning at 9 am. Thursday,
August 26.
Entries in the District contest
are those which received blue
ribbons in their county contests.
Blue ribbons at the South Cen
tral will be eligible to enter the
Pennsylvania Dairy Show.
Other counties competing in
the South Central are: Adams,
Dauphin, Cumberland, Frank
lin, Fulton, Lebanon and York
the Glenn Wissler farm. The
meeting will Consist of working
on the float.

The Penn Willow 4-H Club
held its regular monthly meet
ing at 9 a.m. at the Pequea
Township Elementary school
Friday, August 13. There were
33 members and three leaders
present.
