22, 6 mi. east of Bel Air, Md., (via U.S. Rt. 1) and 6 mi. west
of Aberdeen, Md., (via U.S. Rt, 40 or 1-95) on
FRIDAY, AUGUST 13,
This sale features the entire herd of 60 cows from a farm
er in York Co. These Holsteins show quality and size; approx.
15 are close springers; 20 fresh in the past 60 days; balance in
full production and bred back. Artificial breeding has been
used since the herd was started. Cows milking are averaging
45 lbs. per day.
Another small herd from Cecil Co. will be sold due to the
loss of the owner’s barn by fire. These cows are just fresh or
close springers and are well bred with good size.
Other consignments of local heifers fresh and springing
will be sold.
If you are looking for additional cows or heifers to make
base or to improve your herd, please attend this sale. This is
one of the best offerings we have had this year.
