in dairy science at Penn State

Red Rose 4-H Plans Tour
The Lancaster County 4-H
Red Rose Baby Beef and Lamb
Club will hold its annual tour
Wednesday in southern Lan
caster County.
The group will assemble at
9 a.m. at the farm of Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Weidman, Chris
tiana RDI, to see steers being
fed by Joanne, Glenn and Ste
ven Weidman. Sammy Long
will also bring his Hereford
steer to the Weidman’s.
Other stops will include-
Dutchman Hereford Farm, Ox
ford RDI, to see steers of Mar
cia Spangler, Judy and Jean
Thompson and Daisey and Tom
Perry. The group will judge a

A picnic lunch and recrea

Quarryville park. 4-H’ers will
bring their own food and eating
utensils.
Beginning at 2 p.m. the tour
will include the animal projects
of the following: Darlene,
Daryl, John and Dale Enck,
Holtwood RD2; Marilyn and
Shirley Landis, Quarryville
RDI; Sylvia, Susan and James
Martin, Pequea RDI, and Bren
da, Carol, Donna and Roger
Walter, Willow Street RD2.
