This is a high quality herd which has used certified
breeding for-15 years from Maryland-West
Virginia. These cows show production, good breeding and
size. The herd has been on D. H. I. A. since 1957. Some
cows milking as high as 90 lbs. per day. We will sell
daughters of Skoie, Tidy Gold, Archie, Segis, Admiral,
Black Eagle and Ivanhoe Emperor. This herd is bred for
average months. Several fresh cows calved within the
past 30 days; many are close springers; balance milking
now and bred back.

covered dish picnic luncheon
Saturday at Hempfield Park near
Mountville. The invocation was
given by Mrs. Harrison Nolt.
Mrs. Luke Brandt, vice presi
dent, was in charge of the busi
ness meeting. Games were direct
ed hy Mrs. Elmer Schroll.
Members were reminded to
attend the County Farm Wo
men’s covered dish picnic at
Central Manor Camp Grove on
Aug. 4 beginning at 12 noon.
The picnic is held in conjunction
with a county executive board
meeting with Mrs. John N. Hess,
county president, in charge. A
beverage will be supplied, but
each member and family attend

place setting and a covered dish.

will he a tour of Lancaster Coun
ty by private car-o-van. The
group will meet at the Wax
