higher of 25 per cent or 25 acres
of the famr’s total set-aside acre
age, for use in an emergency in
a later year.
Before harvesting, the farmer
must file written application and
receive approval from the County
ASC Committee. Harvesting
without written approval will
be considered a program viola
tion.
If approved, the hay must be
baled and stored until released
by the County Committee in the
event of an emergency

the number of expected servings.
