An uneven marketing pattern exerted a strong influence on the live trade and a threatened rail strike added a further bearish undertone.. Mild ,early price up turn more than offset by lower trend on later sessions and most buyers quite cautious and selec tive at close. Consist showed a notieable increase in 950-1050 lb. Steers and 775-850 lb. Heifers, many of these of Good and low- Cboice grade and generally in narrow demand.
