Weekly Review
Monday-Wednesday
June 14-June 16
Compared last Friday, slaugh
ter steers weak to mostly 25c
lower, slaughter heifers fully 25c
lower, cows and bulls strong to
mostly 50c higher.
Additional declines in whole
sale beef prices which continued
through mid-week appeared to
toe the major bearish factor con
tributing to the downturns in
live trading Both slaughter
steers and heifers met with a
fairly broad demand at the out
set of the week, but met with
touyer presure at mid-week fol
lowing further losses in whole
sale trading.
