Twin Valley FFA Chapter Meets
A regular meeting of the
Twin Valley Future Farmers of
America- was held Tuesday
morning, June- 8 in the voca
tional- agriculture classroom.
The meeting was brought to
orderly Frank Stoltzfus, presi
dent; using the opening cere
monies. The secretary’s report
was given and approved as cor
rected. The treasurer’s report
was given and filed for audit.
Vice President Nevm Mast
gave a report on the progress of
the-program of work and the
budget for the 1971-72 school
year. He reported that the bud
get is completed and the pro
grarn of work almost completed.
As soon as all material is com
plete, it will be turned over to
the school print shop for print
ing, It is hoped that it may be
distributed in booklet form at
one of the summer meetings.
Mr. Frederick gave a report
on the pumpkin growing con
test. He reported that students
of three of the four elemen
tary schools have received the
seeds, for the contest. This in
volves about 40 per cent of the
students at these schools
about 500 students.
President Frank Stoltzfus ap
pointed a refreshment com
mittee for the 1971-72 school
year. The committee consists
of Paul Oldham, Terry Murray,
and Richard Kuitz. The com
mittee was instructed to be suie
that there will be refreshments
at the summer meetings.

been disqualified from the

for violations, the U.S Depart
ment of Agriculture announced
