Another factor con tributing to Monday’s down turn was a railroad strike early Monday which curtailed ship ments of live cattle to East Coast packers. This price de cline was offset Wednesday by an advance stimulated by re duced receipts and a broader demand after the rail strike was halted late Tuesday.
