The second meeting of the
Elizabethtown-Donegal 4-H Club
for 1971 was held April 20 in
the Donegal High School Cafe
teria. The meeting was called
to order by president, Phil Bix
ler.
After the reading of the
minutes of the previous meet
ing by the secretary, Nancy
Sauder, Linda Stolzfus told the
club about her “Co-op” day at
the Lancaster Farm and Home
Center.
Phil Bixler reminded the club
of the pancake breakfast plan
ned for April 24, and Mr Borry
explained the 4-H Walk-A-Thon
for Retarded Children to be held
May 8.
After the business meeting,
Mrs. Vera Albert gave an inter
esting talk and exhibition on
herbs and their uses.
For the next 4-H meeting, the
club is invited to the Saddle
Cinches 4-H meeting at 7:30 p.m.
May 21 at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Kenneth Borry.

Bergstrasse 4-H Club
The first meeting of the Berg
strasse Busy Bees 4-H Club was
held Thursday, April 15 at the
Bergstrasse Lutheran Church.
The 1971 club officers were
elected as follows: Janice Zeiset,
president; Karen Habecker, vice
president; Sheryl Zeiset, secre
tary; Judy Miller, treasurer;
Cindy Smith and Anita Burk
holder. game leaders, Virginia
Zeiset and Cheryl Hurst, song
leaders; JoAnne Hurst, news re
porter.
Four of the new officers and
one leader attended the Officers
and New Leaders training 4-H
meeting at the Farm and Home
Center April 22. They were:

Cindy Smith, JoAnne Hurst and
