Three thousand streams are
among items featured on the
Stream Map of Pennsylvania,
now available in its sixth year
as a handy guide for outdoor
people including fishermen and
hikers.
The map was printed as a
public service by the Agricul
tural Experiment Station at
Pennsylvania State University.
This detailed map is approxi
mately three feet wide by five
feet long Geographical fea
tures included are 3,000 each of
Streams, elevations above sea
level, and towns and cities. The
scale is about six miles to the
inch.
Featured are names and lo
cations of major mountains,
valleys, lakes, dams, swamps,
