Lunch will include chicken corn
soup, barbecue, hot dogs and

Society 23 will provide the
relish tray for the United Ser
vice Organizations on May 1, as
part of the hostessing by the
Lancaster County Society of
Farm Women
The program for the last meet
ing featured a wig demonstration
by Mrs Dean Schrum of the
Bille-Jean Beauty Salon, Millers
ville The sessions was held at
the home of Mrs Howard Mar
tin, Lancaster RD2 Mis Newlin
Gioff was in charge of devo
tions Mis Andrew Nissley con
ducted the meeting.

Donations were listed by So
ciety of Farm Women 26 at a
meeting in the home of Mrs.
Lloyd EsWanshade, Manheim
RDI.
The gioup voted $35 to the
Child Development Centei, the
county proiect, and $lO to the
Walk-A-Thon by the 4H Clubs
of Lancaster County to benefit
mentally retarded children

A guided tour of the histori
cal church was led by Mrs Mary
Saiver, MouSt Joy RD2 This is
the 200th anniversary year of
the church.
Serving as hostess was Mis

tesses were Mrs. Cassel Mum-

mau, Mrs. Robert Shearer and
votions were led by Mrs Albert
Fry.

year and a prize cake was given

A candidate for the State
Farm Woman of the Year will
be chosen during the next meet
ing of the group on May 22.
Members will tour the Landis
Valley Farm Museum at 1 p.m
with the meeting taking place
at the home of Mrs Eugene
High, Honks KDI, after the tour.
