Clyde Wolgemuth, Manheim RD2, asks for bids on a bag
of potatoes at the Farm and Home Foundation sale at Root’s
Country Market and Auction Wednesday morning.
Paul Cope, a Foundation director, reported the sale was
a success.
George Lewis, Foundation treasurer, reported total
sales before costs were about $4,000. Items sold included
farm equipment, potatoes, lawn mowers, antiques and
household items. The sale lasted about three hours.
