Belt is among the least toxic of the widely used insecticides. Its
active ingredient, chlordane, having an LDSO of 350 to 500 mg/kg
of body weight. >
Belt controls most of the soil insect complex (such as cutw T orms.
wireworms, armyworms, white grubs, non-resistant com
rootworms and many more).
Belt is available in new non-caking green granules or as an
emulsifiable concentrate.
Belt costs farmers as little as $l.BO per acre.
