ANOTHER CATTLE AUCTION SCHEDULED FOR
Beginning at noon on Monday, February 22nd, the Union Stock Yard Company
and the Lancaster Livestock Exchange will inaugurate its first every Monday slaugh
ter cattle auction.
Now, with two cattle auctions weekly, namely Monday and Wednesday, both
producers and buyers will benefit from the expanded services.
For those consignors who wish to have their slaughter cattle sold at
treaty, that service will remain available as usual on Monday during the
hours from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
With this expanded service, additional buyers and producers of slaughter cattle
are respectfully solicited to patronize the Lancaster market - the market that needs
you and the market you need.
The order of sale for both the Monday and Wednesday auctions will be as fol
lows: Bulls, heifers, steers and cows.
