and a Lancaster RD2 youth
were among top exhibitors of
eggs at the Farm Show this
year.
Dutchland Farms took first
in the Carton One Dozen White
class.
In the FFA events, Jim H
Charles, Lancaster RD2, was
first in the One Dozen White
class.
Dutchland Farms also receiv
ed special recognition for the
Best Dozen in Carton Class,
while Charles received a speci
al award for Best Dozen in Vo
cational Class.
Krelder Cited as Master Farmer

Outstanding profits per acre

school students to tie for top
honors in two divisions of the
1970 One Acre Corn Contest, it
was announced tonight at the
Farm Show corn growers ban
quet
Co-champion in growing long
season hybrids was Ray Bru
baker, Quarryville, RD2, with a
profit of $174 per acre and an
average yield of 219 bushels
per acre.
Lloyd Zeiset was one of three
growers tied for the champion
ship among hybrids used in
medium length growing sea
sons Zeiset had a profit of $l5O
per acre and 203 bushels per
acre
Open to all farm youth under
21 years of age, the contest is
sponsored annually by the
Pennsylvania Crop Improve
ment Association Financial as
