Here you will register for your bunks in the dormitory (50c per night) This will include a cot and one blan ket, bring additional bedding if desired Don’t forget soap, towels, tooth brush, and several changes of clothing Dress warm because the beef barns are kept cool We urge you to spend time on your steer daily, brush and walk him daily so that he will be smooth and firm, and have a bloom to his hair-coat. Pose him often with your show stick so that he will know what you want him to do. Use your show halter on him several times be fore show day, so that he will be used to it Don’t expect him to respond well to a chain halter if he has been trained with a rope halter. Your steer should be trimmed and blocked again since the Lancaster Roundup. Secure help from your Club Leader or another club mefnber to get him fitted to look his very best. You have earned the privilege of representing Lancaster Coun ty in the State Farm Show. Please do your very best at all times, because there will be keen competition on your next trip into the show ring. 5
