Several members reported tnat the en tire parking space now available is frequently filled to over capacity during some of the larger meetings / It was reported that drainage tile probably will be necessary within the next several months to divert water away from the center building. The tile was recommended by the architect to avoid possible future prob lems with the building founda tion. Lancaster Farming, Saturday, December 19,1970 — The fund raising committee reported that it was decided at a recent meeting to erect a temporary plaque listing the Faim and Home Centei donors in the hallway of the audi torium In addition, the Board voted to have a memonum plaque for donations made to the Farm and Home Center in memory of a deceased person These dona tions will be in the form of a specific project, such as the re cent flag pole duve in memoiy of Victor Plastow, as specified by the foundation It was announced that the Farm and Home Center recent ly received recognition from the Men’s Gaiden Club of Lan caster “for creating and main taining a place of beauty m the community ” It was reported that $1,157 has been received to date from the slave auction, a fund raising project earlier this year, with some additional proceeds ex pected.
