Marvin supervising the fitting w'ork and in addition Lloyd took first place honors in showmanship at Lampeter. Leroy fed, fitted and showed the grand champion baby beef at Solanco. It is an honor for us to have the patronage of families and neighbors who work to gether and have pride in the husbandry of top quality livestock. In other activity at the ban* quet, Eh in Hess Jr. spoke briefly on efforts to raise SI,OOO for the Victor Plaotow Memorial Miss Mauljn Krantz, who re cently was named Pennsylvania Dairy Princess, spoke on how much she owes -1-H and the op portunity the Dairy Princess ac tiulics have siren her to make new friends all over the state. She encouraged local girls te enter the princess contest next, >ear. Max Smith, Lancaster County agricultural agent, said he was pleased to see a large number ol non-4-H persons present.
