The Penn Willow 4-H Com
munity Club held a fashion show
fend foods club quiz recently. The
evening began with a covered
dish meal and games followed.
The sewing club presented the
fashion show with 26 members
modeling. Leaders are Mrs.
Wayne Huber, Mrs, Donald
(Lovett, Mrs. Robert Rcbman,
Mrs. Richard Meily and Mrs. H.
J. Breneisen.
- After the fashion show, a quiz
■was held between the boys and
girls foods club. Leaders are
Mrs. Robert Martin, Mrs Harry
<Schied, Mrs. John Hendeison,
Mrs. Rebman and Mrs. Brenei
feen.
Awards were presented by Mrs.
Doris Thomas, county home
economist.
’ The next evening, the Penn
Willow Junior and Senior queen
delegates, Pam Martm and Bev
erly Martin, finished in the top
five in the preliminaries. They
are now eligible to compete in

The last meeting of the Penn
Manor 4-H Kookic Kooks was
held August 12 in the home
economics room of the Penn
Manor Junior High School.
The girls entertained their
mothers while their projects
were being Judged. The second
and fourth year girls prepared
macaroni and cheese as their
final meal.
The dale for 4-H Achieve
ment Day is August 21 and the
leaders encouraged the girls to
enter the Favorite Foods con
test.
The Penn Manor Community

near Letort, on August 25 at
