Two leading figures in the
Southeastern Pennsylvania poul
try industry are on the program
committee planning the Third
International Poultry Industiy
Exposition at the Cincinnati Ex
position Center. Cincinnati, Ohio
October 26-29.
They are: Donald E. Horn of
D. E. Horn & Co., York, and
ttendrik Wentink. Miller &
Cushong, Inc, Rohrerstown.
The Exposition will feature
“an educational program which
I’m convinced will be so appeal
ing to producers that it will in
fluence all other shows to follow
and it is within a whisker of
being completed,” reported S.
M Smith, Program Committee

tion
The big new exposition merges
the expositions formerly staged
by the Noitheastern Poultry Pio
ducers Council (NEPPCO) and
the Poultry Industry Manufac
turers’ Council (PIMCO).
“We are gathenng the top ex
perts in the poultry and allied
fields from all over the nation
to give producers firsthand re
ports on ways of improving their
livelihoods,” Smith said.
“An entirely new concept of
having these experts meet
to-face with producers will be
announced within a few weeks
when we will reveal the exciting
topics to be featured.”
Members of IPIE’s program
and planning committees, ex
perts in their own rights, have
flown in from all parts of the
country a half-dozen times to put
final touches on the speaking
portion of the exposition.
Each of the industry leaders,
together with Smith and Promo
tion Manager Donald B Ellis,
has approached and secured the
speaking services of the top ex
perts in a dozen important indus
try fields

School. Mrs Engle gave a demon
stration to the first year girls on
