Citations for help to the FFA
went to George Myers, the Lam
peter-Strasburg Future Home
makers of America and the
school’s cafeteria staff.
The new 1970 FFA Sweetheart,
Miss Brenda Hicks, was crowned.
The 1969 Sweetheart, Miss Donna
Hess, was present
Linford Mai tin, State FFA vice
president, speaker, reminded
FFA members they owe a lot to
parents and local business “be
hind the scenes” for suppoxt of
FFA
Stating that the FFA has been
under file recently to prove its
worth, he said it’s “up to FFA
members to prove this is a worth
while effoit” At the national
level, the FFA has been cut from
ten to two part-time personnel,
he said.
