New Members Of Holstein Association
Twelve Lancaster CountJans
are among 122 Pennsylvanians
who became new members of
the Holstein-Friesian Associa
tion of America at the associa
tion board's last meeting.
The 122 individuals and firms
make Pennsylvania the third
largest state group joining the
world’s largest dairy breed so
ciety. Pennsylvania is the
second largest dairy state in the
Northeast.
Forty-six states aie represent
ed on the current roster of new
members. Wisconsin led with
the largest state group number
ing 161 followed by New York
garnering 141.
These new membeis join the
ranks of over 26,000 people ac
tively breeding Registered Hol
stem-Friesian cattle that enjoy
a reduced rate when registering
and transferring their animals.
