GUERNSEY MILKING HERD DISPERSAL
*nth E. Wetzel, owner, Downlngtown, Penna.
THURSDAY, JANUARY 22, 1970 12 30 NOON
At the Ass’ll. Sales Pavilion, 6 mi. E. of Lancaster, Pa.
65 COWS
IS just fresh or due tight away; quite a number of early
summer fresheners.
These cattle have an almost perfect breeding history, calv
ing' every 13 months. A very Valuable asset in anv herd.
Kany are sired by a Owynllan, Tannery Kill, or Tarbell
Tarms Bull. Many in calf to “Dividend”, Lyrene May Bose
Prince, Woodacres Master Chief, etc.
Shortage of help and the sale of the farm combined forces
the sale of these cattle, heifers to be sold in April. They have
been well taken care of. An attempt has been made to keep
them on OKIA, but the tester missed so many months, that the
records are not an indication of what the cows can actually do.
It will be a chance to buy good producers, many of them
somewhat on the stale side, but due during the summer months
when we predict there will be a shortage of fresh cows. If yon
have feed, buy them now.
