SOCIETY 4
At a recent meeting of the So
ciety of Farm Women 4, Miss
Mary Rosenberger, assistant
home economist of the Lancaster
County extension service, illus
trated recipes for holiday foods
and shared recipes for unusual
pie crusts and pie combinations.
The meeting was held in the
home of Mrs. Alvin Musser, Co
lumbia R 2.
The meeting was conducted by
Mrs. Robert Garber, vice presi
dent, Mrs. John Gingrich read a
poem on the Thanksgiving theme
and led devotions.
Societies 3 and 4 took treats
to Conestoga View and visited
with guests on Nov. 20. Society
4 will assist in chaperoning for
the USO on Dec. 6.
"Society 4 will hold a holiday
covered dish luncheon at 12:30
p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 27 in the
home of Mrs. Robert Brubaker,
125 Prospect Road, Salunga.
