Interpret ing change for Holstein breeders, Rumler contended that senti ment gave way to the reahty of economics when the rules for color markings were changed at the last national meeting He cited major accomplishments by the national organization brou ght about by long range goals, intermediate planning and daily execution Continued emphasis on the fundamentals of registra tion, classification, transfers and production testing are vital.
