Lancaster FFA Youths
Win At Region Dairy Show
Lancaster County FFA
youngsters took Holstein re
serve grand champion, senior
reserve champion, and junior
champion honors and also won
17 blue ribbons in the 14th an
nual Pennsylvania Southeastein
Region FFA Dairy Show m
Harrisburg Wednesday
In addition, the youths took
top honors in Holstein group of
four. One youth won both mas
ter fitter and master showman
honors in one class, while an
additional 10 single awards in
one of the two events also weie
won
All blue ribbon winners are
eligible to compete in the State
Dairy Show to be held latei this

Winning reserve grand cham
pion honors and senior reserve
champion in Holsteins was Earl
C Stauffer, of Cloister Chapter,
Stauffer also won blue ribbons
for the reserve champion in
three-four-year-old competition,
and for another animal in two

Dennis Ginder 11, Manheim
R 2, has only been a member of
the Elm-Penryn 4-H Club two
years and this was his first hog
project The first year his
project was capons But if you
ask Dennis what pioject he’ll do
next year . . . the answer is a
resounding “hogs” And if you
were in Dennis’ shoes . you
would feel the same way.
