Society of Farm Women 3
held their most recent meeting
at the home of Mrs. Elam

quarters in Lancaster. The
group will also sew ditty bags
for the American Red Cross
Mrs. Robert Giegory, chairman
of the food stand committee
for the annual Ephiata Fair,
reported the menus for the
four days and when the food is
to be prepared. The group ex
pects to enter a float in the
Wednesday evening parade, de
picting 50 years of Society No
3 in northern Lancaster Coun
ty.
Mrs. Clarence Stauffer, pro
gram chairman, reported the
Golden Anniversary meeting to
be held Sept. 20 at the farm
home of “The Groffs”, Mount
Joy, Pa. which will include a
banquet at noon followed by the
regular meeting and the Anni
versary Program. Members may
make reservations by contacting
Mrs. Clarence Stauffer by Sept
