Weaver, who will be going to
Kansas City in October to the
National FFA Convention, h
the son of Mr. and Mrs. John J.
Weaver. He graduated from
Garden Spot High School in
June and was a member of the
State FFA Chorus for two years.
He sang in both the Garden Spot
Senior Chorus and Concert
Choir. He will be in Kansas by
October 12 to start practice for
the national activities.
The Burkhart children are
well known for their blue grass
music at local 4-H meetings and
other gatherings. They have also
become known nationally.
In winning a place on the pro
gram of the National County
Agents Convention, the local 4-
Hers were selected from nearly
100 applications. News stories,
pictures and a tape of their
music along with an application
blank were used as introduction
to the program planners Rickey
and Rhonda will appear on Sept.
