Mrs. Lantz was in charge of devotions. Mrs. Leo Snader, president, conducted the session. • The Conestoga Valley Asso ciations concern for beautifica tion of the Conestoga River Val ley was discussed. Names were announced of re cipients of awards given to area graduates for outstanding achievement in home economics and in the agriculture depart ment. They are Sharon Herr, Conestoga Valley High School, and Nancy Hoober, Garden Spot High School. Merlin Snader, Garden Spot was awarded the Vo-Ag honors. Mrs. Roy Hollinger was elect ed to fill the unexpired term as \ice president of the group. Plans were made for a visit to Embieeville State Hospital on Sept. 12 with entertainment and treats.
