Woodchuck Shooters, No Rood Hunting With woodchucks emerging from their burrows after lengthy winter naps, varmint hunters are thinking of the many hours ahead during which they can he matching wits and patience with ■groundhogs. Although considered by many to be a nuisance, hunters are re minded that the woodchuckis a game animal and that regula tions which apply to the taking of game also apply to the lowly groundhog. ' ; Especially important is the new law which bans the practice of “road hunting,” often a favorite method employed by varmint hunters in the past.
