All parents are invited SOIL TEST MEETING SET AT MARTINDALE The last in a series of farmer education meetings will be held at the Lincoln Independent School building near Martindale on Wednesday evening, March 19 at 730 P M as part of the Eastern Lancaster County Adult Farmer Program Robert Herr, Chairman of the Aguculture Department of the Eastern Lancaster County School District, will discuss the economics of soil testing, in terpreting soil test results, and the application of fertilizers and lime according to recommenda tions Farmers will have the op portunity to have their own soils analyzed and kits will be made available for soil tests conduct ed by the Penn State Soil Re search Laboratory The meeting is open to the public and all farmers are en couraged to attend. When a flag is to be half masted, it should be fust hoisted to the peak for an instant and hen lowered to the half-staff position.
