giance were in charge of Mrs.
Miriam Heisey. Roll call was
responded to by giving a Valen
tine memory. There was also a
hanky exchange.
The Society decided to have
a food stand at the sale of Mrs.
Delores Eshelman on Feb 10.
Cancer dressings will be made
at the M F. Eberly home on
Feb. 17 A donation was given
for cots for the Day Nursery
School which will be held at
Christ Lutheran Church, Eliza
bethtown and will open on Feb
17.
It was announced that the
Spring Rally will be held at the
Town and Country Inn on May
15 The delegates, Mrs Laura
Snyder and Mrs. Barbara Eber
ly, gave reports of the State
Convention held m Harrisburg
in January Music was furnish
ed by ladies of the Society
Refreshments were served in
keeping with Valentine, Lin
coln, and Washington’s birthl

Lee Shultz accompanied by Mis
Jap Heisey entertained with two
vocal selections President Mar
garet Heisey spoke of the coun
ty board meeting and asked a
vote on the project for 1969
The Society chose to take the
Halfway House for the project
Two members. Mrs John
Warfel and Mis Chust Stoner
weie recognized for peifect at
tendance in 1968 Society mem
beis proved it to be very inter
esting to talk about and demon
strate their keepsakes

State Convention reports
were given by Mrs Martin
Moore, Mrs Roy Brubaker and
Mrs. Graybill Hollinger.
The members voted to have

pital as a county project. An
all day meeting was held at
the home of Mrs. Clayton San
grey, Lititz R 2, February 5.
It was a covered dish meeting.
The ladies made bed pads for
the Luther Acres Home, Lititz.
The speaker for the meeting
was Mrs Allan Fisher, Mount
Joy, who gave a demonstration
on Cake Decorating.
The next meeting will be
held Saturday, March 1 at 130
p m. at the home of Mrs. Mar
tin Moore, Lititz Rl. Her co
hostess will be Mrs. George
Zahn. Speaker will be Mrs Al
fred Pincmian, Philadelphia,
who will talk on her “Life in
Germany.”
