Mrs. Boyce Has Lived On Home
Quarryville Farm All Her Life

hung at Collins, two miles south
of Quart yville on route 472, on
the 75 acre farm where she was
horn and raised, never lived
anywhere else and only had to
c oss the road to attend Har
mony school, later went to
Quarryville High School She
was an only child of Mr & Mis
Abram Stively who also ran a
general merchandise store at
tms same location Laughingly,
she says “I almost missed being
horn” as her mother was 44 and
her father 56 when she aruved
Maybe this accounts for her love
of family and friends and for
her varied activities in the num
e”ous community organizations
of which she is not just a nom
inal member but a very active
one % Sometimes it causes com
plications when there’s two or
fhiee meetings to attend in one
day. In the summer her picnic
basket is soit of a “meals on
wheels”, getting to all the pic-
