The newly formed federation of dairy farmeis supported a three-point program to their senators and congressmen to consider action during the 1969 session of our U S Legislature The Federation supported prompt action of their repie sentatives in Congress in sup port of the “Dairy import Act of 1969,” designed to prevent dumping of low quality products by foreign countries. The delegates requested their representatives to support two principal amendments to the Agricultural Marketing Agree ment Act of 1937. The first is a modification of authority in cluded in the Food and Agricul ture Act of 1965 to enable co operatives to establish the Class I Base Plan to established pro ducers as well as new pro ducers.
